Title: Clutch fan/Flex fan?
Post by: JRConnieK10 on April 22, 2009, 05:02:59 pm
I was curious as to which people prefer. I have the choice of either and I wondered what are the pros and cons to either one of these?

flexfans produce less drag but are noisier. How about an e-fan?

Its on my son's truck so electric is not an option at this point. If any body gets electric it will be on mine. But he never gives me time to work on mine.

I like clutch fans because they're built heavier and makes me feel safer, weather they are or not.  I've never had a clutch fan sling a blade though I have had one flex fan 15 years ago or so that slung a blade into the battery on a 69 mustang at about 4000rpm.

Flex fan might Sling Blade but you will know it, a Clutch Fan Might wear out you will find out on the road someday. I've put a flex fan on backwards and some how it didn't fail ::), now why don't they make like a clutch/ Flex fan?
