concerning "5 lug wheels" on our 73-87 trucks
What other body years are interchangeable?
for example
88--up
67-72
60-66
thanks

Just trucks > 71-99 5 lug 2WD 1/2 Ton trucks.
-
I think all 6 lugs are interchangable
4x4 in our trucks, two wheel drive pre70, 99 newer?
-
thanks-
what is the diff. pre 71?
why the difference for 67-70, arent they the same as 71?
-
The earlier trucks were all 6 lug whether 2wd or 4wd.

My C10's 5 lug wheels are from a '90s model truck.

edited to add: I just bought tires today, and picked up an identical spare... it came from a '97 Tahoe, evidently right before they went to 16" rims.

also 1/2 vans and most full size cars from pre 96

Watch the backspacing, 88 and up may be different. I have a set of 95 rallies for my truck. Since I put on the Bell Tech spindles they rub on the lower ball joint. The older 15X6 1/2 rallies clear fine.

astro vans got the 5x5 pattern along with 91-96 caprices, including the Impala ss with the 17 inch wheels.

Resurrecting an older thread, but I've been looking at a set of 16" wheels from an '86 Camaro. I know zero about the offset or center hub spacing requirement so wondering if anyone is familiar with them and if they'd work without issues.
Respectfully,

I believe the camero wheels are 5X4-3/4 pattern so they wont work without adapters.

Thanks for the quick reply...
If I am reading what I have correctly, the stock lug pattern for our 1/2 ton trucks is 5X5 (vice 4.75); Am I on the right track?
-
Yes that is correct. Our trucks are 5x5, GM car small pattern is 5x4.75, the 6 lug is 6x5.5, and I think the 8 lug is 8x6.5. someone correct me if Im wrong please.

Thanks for the info!
