All stock Small Block exhaust flange mounting areas are the same...excluding one odd bolt on some...267's/305's & the other little V8 Monza engine (262?) where the last Rt. manifold bolts in a different hole, I can't recall any head only being drilled for just the odd spacing (those heads have both holes). So yes early heads (pre-Vortec) are the same as Vortec. Hope this helps, Lorne

excellent, thank you. i ordered the 350 powercrate engine from year one (insert drool here) 400+hp and 400+ tq, and the guy i bought it from has headers for sale, but they were off on older style head, so i thought i would ask before, since the powercrate has iron vortec heads. thanks again!
