Title: intermittent wipers VS. Delay
Post by: Irish_Alley on May 25, 2009, 12:05:50 am
whats the difference the reason i ask is cause on my 94 Chevy the circut Bord is screwed the wipers do what ever they want makes me so mad i wont drive it in the rain I'll drive my 79 that sucks the gas down faster than i can put it in. but to make a long story short I'm stopping by autozone this morning and this is my chooses http://www.autozone.com/autozone/catalog/parts/partsShelf.jsp?displayName=Wiper+Motor&itemId=prod61248&isSearchByPartNumber=false&sortType=null&totalPages=[I@1ce40b9&currentPage=1&vehicleNValue=&navValue=15700104&parentId=cat30065&fromString=search&fromWhere=null&filterByKeyWord=wiper&categoryNValue=15799999&categoryDisplayName=Electrical+%26+Lighting&_requestid=62967
i took a pic but not sure if that will help since they all look the same lol the 40-158  looks like it would be it since its the only one in store and online makes it more common but idk. the wiper control has all those little bars not just hi med low so I'm thinking intermittent but not sure

Why not just get a replacement circuit board? That will solve the problem and if i remember right autozone carrys them. As much as i love the 73-87s in my opinion the 88-98s are far superior in every way.

it was a mass confusion from autozone web site. just bought the one i thought it was and it worked. the bord was like 30 bucks and the wiper was about 60 w/ Llt W
