Title: 78 c10 from L.A.

whats up everyone, my name is harry, 21 years old from los angeles.

my dad has had his 78 chevy c10 (i think bonanza model) for a little more than 12 years. He has always used it as his work truck/construction duty.

it has got the original 350 but it was rebuilt about 10 years ago.

recently i went to a muffler shop and saw  a really nice 78 outside the shop and fell in love and decided i was going to take over my dads truck and make it my project.

so far my plans are as follows:

Complete Interior overhaul- Black Leather bucket Seats, custom center console, upgrade to racing gauges, better sound system, change dash to black, change carpeting to black, basically the whole inside from the ugly blue to black.

Exterior- Paint matte black, flar black or whatever that dull black finish is (someone help me here), definitely drop it (either with airbags or coils we will see), change all the bumpers (not sure what to go with -chrome or maybe a custom front bumper like fiberglass if they even make one) , 15" or 16" Cragar SS's with BFG Radial T/A's, aluminum front grill. i basically want a nice clean look to the truck. maybe tint the windows just a little

Engine- add some performance upgrades to the 350. probably edelbrock heads, intake manifold, holley carb, remove the a/c, hooker headers, down to x-pipe to some flowmaster mufflers.

thats the plan for now. ill try to get some pics of the truck as it is right now.
