Found a new board thanks to fullsizechevy.com and thought I would lurk around here for a while... heres a few pictures of what I've done. Ive done all of the work myself and in the confort of my own garage/driveway.
1987 Silverado, 5.3L, 4l60e w/shift kit, 3.42 open diff, 1.5" wheel spacers in the rear, 91 suburban cluster, 92ish steering wheel, 2004 bucket seats, modified tilt steering column (recessed 2" closer to dash), 1998 beretta cruise control switch, and hid proectors w/6k bulbs... whole bunch of stuff on the back burner too, like the 96 dodge cluster upgrade (see picture below)

Welcome from West Texas. Very nice
-
Welcome from Tennessee. Nice truck and I really like those headlights.
-
Welcome aboard. Nice truck. Looks like yet another person did the engine swap I should have done. >:(
Now, how about a pic of that 'stang. How hard was it to cram a modular motor into a fox body?
-
Welcome and nice looking shortbox.
-
I sold the mustang about 3 months ago after I completed the swap about 3-4 years ago. I need to upload them to imageshack or something becuase putfile crashed. It was a bad lil car. As far as the swap nothing more than a few aftermarket parts and it fit fight in.

Nice and clean, Welcome!
-
Welcome from Montana. Really nice truck. Gauge package almost identical to the one in my 77. Copy cat Dodge boys. Ha
-
Nice truck.
-
Welcome, what year make and mody of engine is that? Nice truck.
-
How bout some pictures of your modular '93 fox? And how hard was it to get those dodge gauges to go in there properly and look factory? I like that idea. I hate not having an RPM gauge!
-
Looks good, I like the guages.
-
What year and model are they out of?

Oh sorry, he said the cluster was out of a suburban. I just read the part where chevymotocross said they were dodge. So uh, if you do go ahead and get the gauges out of something else that had a tach, how hard is it to wire it all up? You would only be moving the fuel gauge, so i assume that would be the easiest part. But then how hard is it to hook up a factory RPM gauge, where once there was none?
