I have a 1986 custom deluxe and i am wondering the average value of these trucks. It has 350 with auto trans.( 700r) NO RUST. However 1 fender got hit and i had to replace it and it still needs to be painted, other than that it the body is straight. All glass good. Interior is good. Needs seat recovered. No cracks in dash. Door panels do need some attention. A/C blows cold, heat is good, door seals are good, etc. Does not smoke or burn oil, starts every time. Has factory rally wheels with beauty rings and center caps. Factory ride height.
I just like to have a general knowledge of what the value of what i have. Don't misunderstand me, I AM NOT TRYING TO SELL THIS TRUCK!!!

KBB only goes back to 1989 doesn't it

I paid $1600 for my 86 Custom Deluxe no rust Tennessee one owner 70K mile 2 wheel drive. Based on that yours being a 4x4 and working AC $2500-$3000 wouldn't be out of line I would think.

$1600 bucks sounds about right from what you describe.

is there any real difference from a lwb and swb price

This is what I found on nada.com.
http://www.nadaguides.com/default.aspx?LI=1-22-1-5013-0-0-0&l=1&w=22&p=1&f=5014&y=1986&m=1035&d=7239&c=10&o=7946&vi=95775&z=21012&da=-1
It didn't ask for bed length, 4x2 or 4, mileage, options, trim ect. ect.

I looked into it, options allow for AC and 4 wheel drive. I guess even with the 10% loss on the 6 popper I am pulling out anyway I didn't seem to overpay for it at all. Thanks for the link, it may come in handy some day.

Sure thing! Your right about the 4wd. I forgot it did ask for that and one trim opt.
-
You're right. By nada standards you did good. I dont have but $2000 in mine so i guess I did too !!! Thanks for the link
