You will have a thermostatic vacuum switchin valve connected to ported vacuum. The other port will go to the egr valve. Do you have the vacuum hose routing diagram on the veci label?

from what i am able to make out is. the vapor can has 5 hose on it, i have 1. pcv supposed to have 2 ports, mine 1. distributor suppose to be vac advance, me no. im trying to find pictures of what all of these parts are. ie dist delay valve, egr/purge control valve tvs, purge signal hose, check valve, efe. oh and there is black round thing mounted above the ac/heater box on passanger side of the firewall. i think i might be screwed here.

Host your images on photobucket and then just use the image code with the link inside it like this:

well i figure out some of my mess. i looked at every page of my shop manual. remember im new at this. the one thing i was concerned about turn out to be the vacuum can for the a/c. the other was the vac switch for the ESC with isnt used anymore. and the other turned out to be the vac switch for, you guessed it, cruise control. but i still have to figure out the plumbing for the fuel vap can and the egr. and all the other stuff. oh yeah, i figured out the pics thing. check out my truck at members rides.
