Title: TILT FRONT END---CHEAP.
Post by: Stewart G Griffin on June 01, 2009, 10:45:10 am
I JUSt want everyone to know that usbody is selling extra fiberglass tilt front ends for 73-80 and 81-87 for $550!

http://www.usbody.com/

i can't link to the exact page, because their website is funny, but it's in the 73-87 section just scroll down.

i don't have time or reason to go to florida (they can't ship these for some reason) so i lose out (again). This would have been perfect for my plan(s).

Dang, I wish the 73-80 was a 2" cowl version.  I need one of those to clear my Hilborn stacks...

Don't need to replace what I have, I need an extra one for my 73...2 total.

It looked like they had a cowled version of the 73-80. Looked like a 2", too.

I hate fiberglass body panels. How does your tilt fit Chris?

they have a cowled version, just not for $550...

Mine isn't completely installed, but the fit is pretty good!  I will buy another one.

Would also suggest searching for medium duty tilt front ends, i.e., school buses, utility trucks etc. in salvage yards.    i've seen them go for $200-$600.
