Post by: ron350 on June 04, 2009, 01:21:09 pm

Hello, from Birmingham, AL.

I have an old 1975 C10 step side and I need to replace the original window felts before I scratch up the glass.

Amy suggestions or does this belong in another section?

Welcome to the site from NW Indiana.  Click on the banner at the top, I believe the site store has what you need.

Welcome nieghbor.

The site store does not have them in the catalog, but I heard he was working on the supplier of some good ones.

I got mine from Golden State and would NOT recomend them. They are nice enough people to deal with, but this particular item was cheap chinese crap, half the "tangs" broke while I was trying to spread them apart to install. and after install the outside pass side had the wrong curve at the back of the door. They are in, though, and look pretty good and do thier job. But man what a pain.

Ron, I don't have the supplier in stock yet, but if you need them immediately check with the dealership.  We are in Bham too, so welcome neighbor.

Small world indeed.  Basically right down the road.  We very well may know each other or at least know some of the same people, if not Toolmaster does.
