i have a stock 350 with the factory exhaust manifolds with a true dual exhaust system, im looking to put some flowmaster mufflers on it but dont know what ones would sound the best i was thinking the super 40's if anyone has a video with a stock 350 with flowmasters or an opinion on which muffler i should get
-
are you dead set on Flowmaster's? i know they sound great but if your looking for a unique sound, look into SpinTech exhaust. they sound awesome and completely different from anything else out there. if not, good ol 40 series 2 chamber flowmasters are always the way to go. the 50 series have less interior resonance but not as aggressive sounding...hope this helps

ive never heard of SpinTech before....but ive always liked the sound of flowmaster...do you know if the mufflers already come with the drain hole for water and moisture?
-
someone may correct me if i m wrong but i dont think any muffler has drain holes for moisture. if they did it would cause horrible exhaust tic. usually moisture just escapes out the back with spent gases. again i may be wrong but ive never seen a muffler with drain holes

Almost all first quality Walker mufflers come with a drain hole in them. Unless they are a universal fit then you're required to drill one yourself

I always knock about a 1" hole in all my mufflers with a railroad spike and a 5 lb sledge. But right after doing so, my truck seems to get much louder. So after putting up with it for a while, I put in a new muffler and pop a new hole in it and the process starts all over again. There must be an easier way. And don't even get me started on catalytic converters. :-\

Catalytic converters...what are those ;D

i know factory mufflers come with drain holes...and my dad said i should put a drain hole in my mufflers....with the mufflers i have now(turbo mufflers) i think theyre rotting out or something cuz all of a sudden theyre louder
