hey guys, i was trying to remove the beds bolts on Friday night. i am prepping to get the cab corners and rockers done by a buddy. out of the 8 nuts i only got one of them off. i tried some wd40. but that didn't help. i just got some differant fluids from my dad. he swears by it. its called AERO KROIL. we used it yesterday on the rad support at the junk yard. it worked great. OK, before i get to sidetracked. are there any other methods to getting the bed bolts out. i might have to drill the head of the bolts and punch them down. any tips?

I always use PB Blaster. Whatever you use, let it soak for a while before trying. If they are really stuck it will twist the bolt in the bed floor.

i got them off. i sprayed them with the aero kroil. then went and changed my fuel filter and put some different clamps on. then went back to try to get the bed bolt nuts off. and presto. all but one now. the one is spinning . but i can get to it with a nut splitter. TRY AERO KROIL!!!!!

my dad at ontario power generation had some in once for a test run, it seemed to work great on the generators and such for the excessively rusty repairs needed, but i didnt ask alot about it then, but heard good things

That stuff works quite well, used it a bunch on power generation repairs.

Weld a nut on the top of the carriage bolt and you'll be all set.
