Title: tbi to carb??

How hard of a swap is it to go from a tbi to a carburated motor?  The 305 in my truck is starting to smoke, and I know a quick rebuild of the 305 would be the easiest solution, but in switching to a carb I am also going to be adding a 383 under the hood.  Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Just transfer over the TBI and run a different chip. I would never eliminate the TBI for a carb unless you are racing.
