My buddy has a 1984 K-5 Blazer. I am wondering if I can swap all his drivetrain, front end, rear end, tranfer case, into my 75 K-10. Seems like it should be pretty straight forward. I don't like the all wheel drive set up my truck has and would like to go with something a little more conventional. What do you guys think?

I would keep your axles as they are 12, and a Dana 44. Not a huge difference but a little bit stronger.
( I have broken more ten bolts than 44's or 12 bolt's ) As far as your t case which sounds like a NP 203 by the all wheel drive statement. You can buy kits to make them part time 4x4. The Blazer has a NP 208 case. They have a lower low range, but are not the most rugged of the cases GM offered. For street and minor trial use they are fine, but hardcore wheeling is usually detrimental to them.

Yeah, I thought about it, but I'm not really digging the idea anyways. But thank you for the advice.
