has anyone put the front bench seat from a suburban into one of our trucks? if so pictures would be nice
-
It is the same seat as a regular cab, just non-tilting.
-
ive seen suburbans with something like a bucket on eather side then an arm rest in the middle that folds to make an extra seat
-
I've seen a few pictures, but never one in person, its kinda a dream seat for me, as i have wanted to put buckets in, or that style of seat, yet finding one with good upholstery up here is a tough find.
-
ya ive been wanting to put bucket seats in but i wanna/need to have 3 seats and the seats from the suburbans are perfect
-
Just use the bench seat tracks off your truck. The floor of a Suburban curves down in back while the regular cab curves up.
-
i don't have any pics yet but i took the stock bench seat out of a 87 suburban and it bolted right into my 83 crewcab! PO had put in some nasty bucket seats out of an old conversion van :o!
-
Crewcab and Suburban floors use the same seat tracks. Regular cabs are slightly different in the rear.
-
im sure it could be done though with some custom mounting brackets...im probably not going to do it but i like those seats and wanted to see if anyone has put them in their truck
-
The seat tracks can be bent to fit the regular cab no problem, just bringing it up as it is "not" a direct bolt in, but with a big hammer and or heat/vise it can be done.
-
front seats in Burb/crew are the same and would have to have the rear bracket bent up to fit a regular cab.
The REAR seat of a Crew Cab is the same as a regular cab.
