Title: Ever thought of hooking up one of those fancy shmancy mirrors?

Anyone ever considered one of these for your truck? Be kinda nice to have something that belongs in something newer, serving you in your old ride. Kinda wonder how hard it would be to hook it all up. Oh and pay no attention to that guy's price, he's full of it. You can get em for much cheaper than that. Thoughts? Opinions?

Thought about that too, but with this you can sorta pass it off as factory. Like it just might have came that way, were the truck not so old. That's kinda the theme i am going for with my truck.

Couple more ideas are 60/40 seat from say a late 90s pickup, 3m molding/trim on the outside from late 90s pickup and maybe a couple cup holders but would probably have to custom fabricate something

Post by: Skunksmash on June 21, 2009, 05:57:24 pm: It says that it does pick up laser. But if i remember right it's like a $450 radar detector. Not sure if it's a ripoff or if it really is what they claim though. They do say that if you get a ticket, they will pay it. So maybe it's worth it.
