Title: Penwell drag races

Went to the drag races yesterday and found two awesome square bodies. The black one is running a 614 CI Dart block and the red one is running a 632CI dart. Both are runnig around 5.70-5.80s in the 1/8 mile.

They are regulars so I will try to get better pics later

They were busy trying to get the black truck dialed in (new motor) I did tell them about it and will work on them as I can. I talked to the cheif mechanic/builder of the trucks breifly. Super nice guy. Will be talking to him again.

The red was didn't happen to be wrecked recently was it?

Matter of fact, it supposedly ran through a fence at the 1/8th mile track sometime back. Know em?

Was it for Pinks! in Alabama  If so I saw it after the fact. (just missed the carnage) I may have pics somewhere from PINKS! of it.

That I dont know. I guess its possible. I was told her ran through the fences and Desert thunder raceway here in Midland, Tx
