Title: Harmonic balancer question
Post by: exilous on June 22, 2009, 09:40:46 pm
I'm getting down to the last few things that I might need to replace and may not and my harmonic balancer is one of them. I would assume its the original to the 78 engine, it needs a repair sleeve pretty bad but what I'm worried about is the rubber gaskets that are holding it together. They are pretty dry rotted and heavily cracked. Should I replace the whole balancer or should I just clean it up and put it on? and if I were to replace the whole balancer what kinds should I go with I have no idea what I would need to get. its a 350 4 bolt main. Thanks in advance.
