We have to wear ties in the winter but there clip ons lol. in tech class the teachers didn't have to wear ties due to safety reasons a tie getting caught up in a lathe ain't going to end up pretty

I learned how to do that when I was like 8 or so! ::)

I remember the day my grandfather showed me how to make the tie knot. I was about 7 and i was totally amazed that he knew all the diferent ways to do the tie and I couldnt make even one. :P

I should'nt say this, but, I too was at a very young age when dad showed me, however, my brother never, ever learned. He is in his mid 40's now and when we go to a funeral or something, I have to bring him a tie that I already tied and he slips it over his head and tightens it up. I guess he'll never know how to tie one.

I am proud to say my granddad taught me how to tie a tie at a young age also. The best part of the lesson was the story of how he learned how to make the tie knot when he was in the military.
