Title: Passlock bypass module in 00 K2500

Anyone have any luck bypassing the passlock security system in the 98+ trucks.
My security light just came on in my 00 K2500 and I'm looking to bypass the system.
Looking on line people suggest using a bypass module thats intended for a remote start system.
Just wondered how difficult they are to install.

Not bad too do. I've bypassed many pass key, pass loc, and vats systems.

on my 04 impala it would act funny if you had the windows rolled down and unlocked the car from the inside by pulling the locking knob then opening the doors from the outside confused me at first but eventually figured out what to do.

What did you use for a bypass module, Did you just pick one up at a local alarm company?

I always bypass wire them myself. It's typically just a resistance or magnetic pickup with GM's.
