Well got a call from Little Joe's Street Rod Shop in Denver, NC that my Vintage Air unit had come in. Man fast service, I ordered it last Tuesday and got it today. Anyway got it home and unpacked everything to make sure it was all there. Guys this is quality stuff, well packed and well inventoried. Every box has a check list in it so you can see that it was marked off and a date it was done. I am chomping at the bits to get this thing in the truck but have to wait until next weekend since I have to help the SO's Kuz move this weekend. I suspect it will take me a full weekend and maybe an extra night to get this thing in since I am also going to do new carpet and dash along with it. Been saving $$ in my secret account so now its time to start spending. I have done several project over the years but I am thinking this will be my last and I will keep this one. Two years to retirement and I want to rest and ride my M/C

You want to ride your master cylinder? :P
I think the vintage air system is overpriced for what it is but it's functional. Good luck with the install.

I think he means he wants to run up his Mastercard.

Vile, interesting comment. Is that first hand knowlage? I put one in a 40 F**d several years ago and found it to be just as good then as it is now, and back then they did not have the kits that they do now. My stock system is in shambles and I priced out what it would take to get it back stock and it was not cheep and I was still stuck with that dang ugly big box on the firewall and in the way. I put a Southern Air unit into a 65 Chevy and althought they sell it as a bolt on kit I had to fab up brackets hoses fill holes and drill new holes. Man I whish I had a Vintage Air then but no I tried to save some money I'am getting to the point that I like my comfort and like things easy and I hope to drive this truck for a lot of years. Oh and TexasRed the SO took my Mastercard away from me a long time ago or this truck would be finished by now. :D
