Title: gauge/idle fuse blowing

Yesterday I got in the truck and noticed the choke light was on and all the other guages were not working. So I pulled the fuse and it was blown. Installed another fuse as soon as I turn the key on it blows. Anyone ever have this happen?

The truck is a 86 full size with the 305 4b. All stock nothing as been changed. Everything else works (radio dome light etc)

Check for a short in the wiring.
