Title: Electric Water pump's

I am building my truck from the ground up, and the only time it will come out of hiding is for car shows and the occasional drag strip run, but I was thinking about adding an electric water pump.  What are the pro's and con's to these.  I have never ran one before, so school me!  Can I run the truck down the highway without problem's?  Will it hold up to the abuse of hard launches?  Any info on this would be greatly appreciated!!

It won't be a problem, they just cost more $ with minimal performance gains for street. If you are racing and trying to free up every ounce of HP it's worth it.
