hey guy's im running 20x9" wheels with 5" of back spacing in the raer with a 295-40 an i'm bagged. i want to cut the raer wells an move them up because with them cut out it lay's half of the 20's in the well. have any of you cut an moved the wells up an what was the best way to go about doing so. if you have pics that would be great. thanks

I haven't done it, but I would cut the bottom above the floor and add a flat section above it and remove the side from the fender. You could remove it, add the necessary material and then modify the bed to make it go in better also.

if your tire is as wide as this:

you could do this:

Just grab a second set of fender wells and make some cuts, butt weld them backtogether and vola.. nice factory look with a lil something extra.

hey thanks for the pics clint an nice job they look great. the only thing is i need more hight out of mine because the lip of the inner fender rubs my tire. so I'm trying to move the inner fender up an still making it look clean on the inside an support the outer fender as well.

Just cut the fender in half (paralell to the bed floor). Then make a filler piece out of 18ga sheet metal and weld that in between. You will have to work with the angles a bit but that shouldn't be too hard. On mine I did just the opposite and cut about 1.5" out of mine and welded them back together. This isn't the best picture but you can see they still look stock.
