Title: 500 caddy swap?

I was just wondering if any of you have ever tried to swap a cadilliac motor into a k-20 before. my truck has a 468 bbc, turbo 400, 203 t-case, soon to be a dana 60 front, and a sm465 4-speed. i was just wondering if this swap is feasible. all that extra torque would be great! what do you guys think?

Post by: rmauto1 on July 22, 2009, 08:22:53 pm: Yea... money is the hard part, but i've all ready got a good running 500 caddy, a b.o.p 4-speed bell-housing. my friend at the machine shop says that either the pont or buick flywheel is a direct bolt on to the cad. that would just leave me to have to fab up the motor mounts, and accessory drive mounts. seems to me it would be really cool, and really functional. It would be a really street-able extra 32 cubic inches, compared to my bbc. thanks again for the extra link Hertzdaddy!
