Title: need curb weight 1979 GMC K20 4wd and gvwr

looking for the curb weight for 1979 gmc light duty 3/4 ton 4wd k20 with long 131.5 wheelbase,also need gross vehicle weight rating for same truck tag missing. i remeber it being in the 7000s range

my 78 k20 with a big block, turbo-400, 203, d44, 14ff weighed in at 4800 pounds. I think the k20's were rated at either 7,200 or 8,800 pounds depending on how they were set up from the factory(brake size and springs). hope that this helps.

Gross weight is determined by the options on the truck are you wanting an estimate? The range for a K20 was 6800-8400lbs, being light duty it would be on the 6800 side.
You can run it over some scales for Curb weight, but for an estimate it is about 4800lbs
