i have a 86 gmc swb laying rockers with a stock floor body drop. the only thing i dont like about it is that the front crossmember is z'd 2.5". i plan on redoing my frame and sectioning the crossmember. does anyone have any pics and how to to do this. i tried to look at the tech section of this site but it redirected me elsewhere. please help. thanks.

I can post the link to the how-to article once Network Solutions fixes their screw-up in taking my Domain down and expiring it even though I renewed it to 2018....

Thank you it will be greatly appreciated. can you notify me when you repost it? thanks for your help. on that one you make does it bolt back in? cuz i seen a few welded back in with the top spring pockets cut off and they installed bag mounts in its place.

It is a complete bolt in job.
