I have a Canon SD1100IS which I use when the SLR is too bulky to carry around. It has a neat "color swap" feature with which you can capture the color of a nearby object then take a picture of some other object using that color. I did it with my stepside recently and here are the results. The first one is eliminating all color except the truck. The rest are just using the colors of various objects I found nearby.

And this final picture is using a red that is brighter and "more red" than the Cardinal Red that my truck is painted...

That's pretty cool. Sounds easier than photoshop.

Thats wicked cool. Got something in primer, you could see it in any color you can find.

I have a new Cannon that will do that also. I haven't tried it on the truck yet though.
