Title: Who makes the best replacement panels?

1980 K-10 shortbed

Since I am going to have to replace the fenders and doors and bedsides and and and... :)

Who's replacement panels seem to have the best fit, or are they all cheap chinese knockoffs? OEM would be great but not realistic to find or afford.

PSST...the answer is right above this post and below your post (click on the banner).  If Chris sells it, it's because it's not cheap crap.  Plenty of members here have bought replacement panels from Chris and the general consensus seems to be very positive.

Where is the best place to get an actual tub part of the stepside box? I see cap has the tailgate, and fenders, but what about the rest?

The good thing about the mar-k bedsides are that you can have them made without the stake poket holes and made for their tailgates with the hidden latches.

If you are going for anything other than the bed parts check with Chris here. I believe all of his other sheetmetal is goodmark.

Actually Tri-Plus, which were Goodmark gets their stuff from.  They only have special 73-80 Hood stamping and 73-80 fender stamping.

Actually I was just trying to find everything capt doesn't carry....lol. I used to have a fleet on the back, but it was beyond repair, and I would like a stepper anyway.
