Ok now I have a problem, kinda. I've been working on my son's truck collecting parts here and there, dang my wife is starting to hate Craigslist. Anyway I've been searching for a decent shortbed for his truck and came across an 87 2wheel drive shortbed I really just wanted the bed but after seeing it and talking with the guy more less kicking the tires for humor. He couldn't get it started so I talked him down a little more. Picked it up for $300 took it home tightened the starter wire drove it around. Since I bought it for the bed anyway I took it off and have this truck left. Now the problem I've always been into 4wd trucks but since I've been around here and all the nice looking 2wd trucks you guys have I want to build another one. This thing is is nice shape I mean it still has the factory stereo no wires cut up no rust on the rockers, fenders, floors anywhere just a little on the cab corners. It still has the factory alum wheels with all the center caps and new tires. Heck a dash pad and recover the seat the inside would be perfect its a Silverado with manual window and locks though. I'm thinking of finding a stepside bed or something like that. Give me some ideas. I just hate to not try do do something with it it just seems to have alot of potential.

Is it a 350 tbi? Yeah build a nice stepside! I have too many of these trucks too but that's ok. Women have too many bra's and dresses. Us knuckle heads need our fix too!

Do your part to save a tree, build a truck for the fuel efficiency. Yeah, that excuse will work. ;D

Yeah its a 350 w/tbi. thats just it I want to build it but not sure when I could get to it. I was kinda thinking fixing it a little and the resale value but if I put to much in it I have trouble letting go.

Make you a nice little daily driver. :)
I'm kinda keeping my eyes open for a cheap, in good shape 2wd (locally)

I am glad I am not in your situation. I would have to keep it...
