Hello all!
I have a '78 short box Silvy, completely stock 350, lowered 3" in front/ 4" in back(nice rake to it!)
What would be the best shorty header to use?
I would like it to dump out at the firewall and not a header set that dumps straight down.

There's lots of threads on this if you search.
I favor THESE (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220462671850&category=33631&_trksid=p4340.m215&_trkparms=algo%3DSI%26its%3DI%252BC%252BS%252BIA%26itu%3DIT%252BUA%252BUS-BWR%252BUCI%252BUCC%26otn%3D12%26ps%3D33) They fit good with slight modification.

^ Man, that is unbelievably cheap, especially for 304 grade stainless steel. Like dumb cheap. Funny how a PAIR of SBC headers can sell for that, yet guys with Civic's pay $400+ for ONE header. lol That makes me grin.

I bought the same set for a 95 as a back up. It sounded like I had a cracked manifold but lucked out with a new stud kit and donut gaskets installed. I am impressed with the craftsmanship and they are nice enough to hang on the wall. I may try them on my 86 project
