Title: rocker arm question
Post by: olblue2 on August 09, 2009, 10:34:39 pm
thought id post another topic, but need some help.  i have a head on my newly rebuilt 350 in my 1977 chevy that seems to have the holes for the guide rods opened up a lil bit. they are not rounded and flat sided like the other head, maybe from damage to a hole and someone machined them round, well now the pushrods have a lot of room to move around.  will self aligning rockers like off a 1995 help my problem?  they are stamped steel stockers, look identical to the stock ones i have just have the raised sides to keep them on the valves.    will the work in my case???
