hello all, I had to change a lug that broke on the rear drum of my truck, everythging went ok but cannot seem to find the torque specs for the bolts in the picture, i think they are called the axle flange bolts but not sure.(http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc90/heyharris1/IMG_2629.jpg?t=1249951937)

gooduntight! The other one I use is the " two grunt method "

-
More precise than my "elbow pop" and for the larger ones "shoulder pop". Guess I'm getting old.

Naturally, the torque spec depends on the dia. of the stud and the material it's made of. A common spec for 1/2-20 studs is 77 lb ft torque when a grade 5 stud is used.

				Those are probably Grade 8's... For a 1/2-20, torque is 92 ft-lbs.
