Title: 85 silverado lwb
Post by: jimbo on August 10, 2009, 08:41:44 pm
Took some pics of the new work truck.  It's a 85 silverado lwb with a 305/700r and everything is dead stock and untouched.

I'm pretty sure those are original.  I just took the charcoal air filter out of the breather and everything on and around it looked stock.  The wheel and button are OE peices, I assume they are original to the truck.

Really?  I didn't think the visors were incorrect.

Oh, gotcha.  Yeah I assume those were put on at the same time as the bed rails, they all look like they are from the eighties.

I have been checking out this member rides forum (some great trucks in here!) and I thought I would post a few pics I have of the truck.  They aren't all specifically of the truck.  Some are of things that I believe are the reasons we use these vehicles, for the experiences you can have with them.
It's an all original '85 lwb.  It is unmodified, undented, unpainted, and unchanged since the original owner put the standard 80's accessories such as bedrails, liner, etc. on it three decades ago.

A stocker that clean is awesome. We have a 1950 Dodge Wayfarer with a little over 59,000 original miles. Paint, interior, engine, everything original. Even have the owners manual in the glove box. Its  been inside since 1958 (inspection sticker still on the window from 1958.) Its nothing fancy (cause its a Dodge) but it is unique. Your truck is one of the nicest originals Ive seen, and you should be very proud of it. I think it is truely awesome.

That is an awesome dodge!  Original paint on that model is more than impressive.
