my 350 tran is done in my k10 blazer i have a k10 silverado with a 350 tran in it... dont have a tran jack. can i use a floor jack for the swap? if so, where should i position it? any help would be appreciated as i am in dire straights.

Floor jack is the only thing I have ever used. Put it right under the pan and strap the trans to it.

It will be fun with the T-case bolted to it, I would definitely want to use a plate and strap it to it.

Having just done this by myself, it can be a chore. I took out my 700R4/NP208 combo separately and it was rather easy. Just get a nice piece of plywood or a 2x8 to spread the load across the pan and lower away. Then I put a TH400/NP205 combo in it's place and found it a lesson in wobbly futility. I put a 2x6 lengthwise spanning the front of the tranny pan to the crossmember (still bolted to the t-case) because the front-back balance point seemed to be about 3" in front of the crossmember. I also found the t-case doesn't balance too well left-right and the whole assembly kept wanting to tip off the jack. It's certainly helpful to have a second set of hands and a jack with a bigger saddle (the one on my craftsman jack is only 3-4" across).
Good luck and don't hurt yourself.

There are adapters made for floor jacks too.

should i remove the transfer case before dropping the transmission? i bought a tran adapter for my floor jack

Does the adapter have a strap, if so you shouldn't have to unbolt the t-case
-
it does... 2 straps ive strapped to tranny will the weight of t case tip the jack if i lift from the pan?
-
It shouldn't if the plate pin is long enough.
