Sir Isaac Newton was correct. The law of gravitation pull is not a joke.
Folks, don't open the back doors of a suburban with a hydraulic 2-ton bottle jack resting up against it from the inside, waiting to fall out upon someone wearing sandals. It's not fun.

While I was lucky this time (the last pic was a bit of my creativity), it still wasn't fun.

lol ouch. trim your toe nails ;D

I was thinking the same thing. All I see is a pedicure in necessity. :P If you like Isaac Newton so much remeber that a body at rest tends to stay at rest...
-
yes, pedicure for sure. lol last time i got one i went with my wife and sister in-law and the little Koren ladys went to both of them first and left the elder one to do my feet size 12. you should of seen her face, kind of scary with them shaving my feet but hey it didn't hurt kind of felt nice.

my dad taught me long ago not to clip nails round on toes...that's where ingrown toenails come from.
And, I am not, what do you call those people, MetroSexuals?? No thank you. never had a pedicure, never will.
Ah, the laws of motion. Newton discovered three laws of motion: an object at rest will remain at rest and an object in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by an outside force, the sum of all the forces (F) that act on an object is equal to the mass (M) of the object multiplied by the acceleration, or F = M A, and for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
So, the jack was at rest. However, upon opening one of the barn doors, a force acted upon it. So lets plug in the formula....M mass, simple, the jack. F force, gravity. A acceleration, which the jack suddenly did until it reached my %#*^ foot. So, since Force = Mass times acceleration, the result was.......
OUCH!!
Now, thanks to all who care about my nails, but, my wife thinks my toes are great and that is all that matters. No offense, but, I really don't care what guys think of my toenails. ;D

I take care of my own feet but one time I got a pedicure because a girl friend talked me into it. It was great actually. My feet were in a hot tub and she handed me an ice cold coors light and she massaged it all up and made my feet look good! I wanted it to last longer than it did lol

That's definitely a two beer injury. Good thing your feet are so big- it took the jack pretty good . :D

I think you stumbled upon something else entirely: "potential energy". Like a spring in tension or an item lifted to a hieght (floor of suburban). Glad to hear nothing got broken.

It didn't feel good when it happened. It actually happened a few weeks ago, however, I dind't go to the doctor 'til this week. (I hate doctors--and they may coment on my nails ;D) I was in the lazy boy Saturday watching a movie with my wife and I had my feet up and noticed a knot on my left foot. I had noticed my big toe being very sore recently and it bothered me when I walked. I do a lot of hiking in the Blue Ridge Mts and my last camping trip I couldn't hike any. Anyway, to be sure I am not doing any more injury to my foot, knowing I will hike the Appalachian Trail when I retire in 8 yrs, I wanted an xray. It's cool now, they give you a cdrom with the xray pics on them in case you need to take them to another DR like an orthopaedic or Podiatrist or someone. I put them on my computer, and , then website.
I was reassured everything was in the right place. I got some anti-inflammatory drugs. I hate taking drugs.
And, Don, that was a bit more than a 2 beer injury. More like 12. ;D

Glad I'm not the only one who has had or admits to having a pedicure ::)

nobody's tried to talk me into a pedicure yet...lol

its one of those things your wife/girlfriend has to be with you so it doesn't seam your um.... MetroSexuals ::)

I have never had a pedicure and probably never will. I haven't even had my hair cut in probably 6 or 7 years and that was just a trim off the bottom. I'm not gonna waste money on that kind of stuff.

it kind of sad that I've had my feet done and you haven't lol makes me feel kind of MetroSexual. just a fell tho ::)
