Title: Got this today and thought it was good
Post by: low budget on August 21, 2009, 09:44:32 am

THE JOB - URINE TEST

> Like most folks in this country, I have a job. I work, they pay me.  I
> pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In
> order to get that paycheck in my case, I am required to pass a random
> urine test (with which I have no problem). What I do have a problem with
> is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine
> test.
> So, here is my Question:  Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get
> a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?
> Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on
> their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone
> sitting on their butt - doing drugs, while I work. . . . Can you imagine
> how much money each state would save if people had to pass a urine test
> to get a public assistance check?
> I guess we could title that program, 'Urine or You're Out'.

I should rename my screen name here, but, I am the Devil's Advocate.

Let's suppose Tyrone, oh, I can't single out any ethnicity, I mean Julio, Nope, did it again.....Let's suppose John sits at home and smokes his peace pipe full of everything available out there while watching Jerry Springer, and actually recognizes some of his kin folk on the show--"wait--Jermaine aint' the baby's daddy".   Anyway, if he has to take a test to get that check in the mail, which, somewhere has to be in the Constitutiion that he is entitled to, and he fails that test, which I am sure the result will be no different than any other test he ever took, which, by the way, is the only test he has taken since he left school in the 1st grade at age 12, then what will he do for money?

I will tell you (don't you feel lucky?)

Rob, borrow (without returning) and steal.

Who pays for this guy to eat and house him while he is in jail?  YOU DO!

At what cost?  A -_- lot more than just a welfare check....say about the average stay in the penitentiary each year costs about, well, $50,000 for a warm bed and three square meals and cable TV, and access to a library, and free subscriptions to newspapers, and creating lawsuits for habeus corpus cases left and right and free attorneys when he's in trouble, at taxpayers expense, and......shall I continue?

But, I agree with you.  Let him sit in Jail without paying for a thing at my expense.  At least he isn't stealing from me while in jail (if the judges give him the right amount of time....Life) and he can't procreate to pass his great genes on to the next generation. I have guns.  Double my taxes if needed to keep skum off the streets.

Now, where were we?  Oh yeah, welfare checks.   It's a great thing.   It serves a great purpose. The thing about welfare is that the amount increases depending on how many offspring you have.  Ask anyone in jail today and why his/her parents (sires, really) had them, it is because of a pay raise.  Have 10 puppies, oh yeah, gonna be rich now.  Only in Amerika!

Excuse me while I go build a cabin in the frekin Mountains to get away from reality.

something to think about the "cost of living" for and inmate yes its about 50,000 and yet they pay us in here to watch them 32,000 now I'm not complanting one bit about that but poverty is what less than 18,000 why are they getting to live at uppercase status while others in this country are struggling to support there family and struggling to find and keep a honest job

Sarge, have you thought about running for Prez?  I think this was asked in another thread???

1. I think they need to go back to the WPA, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Works_Progress_Administration , if you don't know what it is.

2. Make them sign up for the Military, shoot them for going AWOL!

One way or another, get them off their butt, stop them from having nothing better to do then reproducing!!!!

OH, if Tyrone, Julio, or John come into my house uninvited, they will come face to face with S&W 9mm, 12ga. pump, 20ga. single shot, or a ball bat, what ever I can get my hands on first!!!  They will wish they chose #1

Irish, I agree 100% with you!
I always said, build a prison in the desert with no air conditioning and make it rough on them where they wouldn't want to go back.  NO, they get more comforts there than I do here in my home, and I'm paying for them both!!!!

Now I'm so mad that I'm going to put the wife out and kiss the dog goodnight!!! LOL...

The one in Arizona is the way they all should be. The Sheriff running that facility is awesome. These guys are fed, and sheltered. Thats all that is required, other than cablle tv (some stupid law) which all tehy get is the Disney channel or the weather channel. I am also a fan of the Wild West days, ( may be a Texas thing), where theives, robbers, and murderers were hung. And relatively quick, not 10 years later.
The Sheriff in Arizona makes the inmates grow thier own food, meat included, and last I heard I think he had the meals down for less than a dollar a day. This is the way it should be. I work my but off to eat, they dont need a/c to watch the disney channel

Bring back the chain gangs and make them earn their keep.  But, the inmates know how to play the system and fake an injury and when forced to work, they get an attorney (at taxpayers' expense) and win a trillion dollars.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio is the sheriff in Mericopa County outside Phoenix who has tent jails and makes them all wear pink underwear and the taxpayers in his county love him.
The recedivism rate, instead of 90% everywhere else, is only like 15% there because being incarcerated there is not a pleasure.

As far as running for president, I don't know.  Just get me a mic and a radio frequency and I'll be happy to say what I have to say.  When your'e a president, you have to dance around everything or Congress will shut you down.

Glenn Beck, Rush, Michael Savage, Hannidy, move over!   Better yet, get me a book deal.  Yeah, that's it!

Being an avid book collector, I have to say I have these by Sheriff Joe Arpaio....

Instead of this book

I'm gonna write my own book and it will look like this.....

Sarge, sign me up for the first copy, but I want it signed!!!

I believe when they are convicted of a crime and are in jail, they have NO rights anymore.  They surrendered them when they made the decision to break the law!
I've always said that I would never be homeless in the cold winters of Ohio.  I would rob a bank and either get away with it and have the money for shelter, or get caught and get sent to a hotel with bars! ;)

Yes, that is how I vote, but I'm more concerned with the way this country is being ran.  I don't care which way you vote, it's still messed up!  We need somebody that has some morals, and a back bone to run this country.
The Bible tells us we need to pray for our leaders and I try to even though I don't believe in the things and laws they are passing.  We have taken God out of everything now days.  We need to get back to the Bible reading, saying the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag everyday, and prayer in schools like this Country was founded upon.  We done this when I was in school and we never had to worry about a kid bringing a gun to school and killing a bunch of people.
If this offends anybody, I am sorry.  I love this Country, and the people in it no matter what race you may be.  It just upsets me to see people put this country down, and not pay their due's to the Land of the Free, and the Home of the Brave.

I don't think party affiliation matters in the big picture.  The big picture is this

Jamestown was the English founding of this great country.  Capt. John Smith mandated that everyone, repeat, Everyone had to participate in 1607-1609 to work and pitch in in order to eat.  You didn't work, you didn't eat.

Now that was an extreme time and beginning to Capitalism in America, with limited food and lots of defensive work and crop work to be done.  But the principle should be the same.

Fast forward a few centuries.  What made us a world power during WWII?  Since the 1890's onward, during and after the industrial revolution, we led the globe in inventions, in factories for manufacturing, in making life better.  We were ready for another World War in the 1940's because of this.  Why did we have so much industry?  Because of capitalism.  You capitalized on your sweat...you start a company, work hard, or create an invention, you got monetary rewards.  It spurred creativity and industry.  Capitalism works if you let it.

The former USSR, China, Cuba all proved that Marx and Engels idea of Socialism does not work.  I repeat, Socialism does not work!  That is why they are becomming capitalistic, though not necessarily democratic.

Why are we floating towards Socialism?  The current democrats are not even beating around the bush...."those who have should give to the have not"  Instead of JFK's famous inaugural speech, and yes he was a Democrat, but he said, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country".  THAT IS CORRECT!! I love that.  And, again he was a Democrat.  I don't care what party one is in.  Obama is saying that the rich need to be taxed more, the rich need to pay thier share of health insurance.....THEIR SHARE?? They pay their share...their own.  The poor need to pay their share, their own. There is no right to health care.  Nada, doesn't exist, Zippo. Nuttin.

I agree that if you are disabled, SSI (which is Social Security Insurance--not social security retirement fund) should cover what you need.

I am not a republican, you don't see me on capital hill with an (R) next to my name.  I am not a politician.  I am conservative in my political beliefs---the less gov't the better gov't.

Now, they say the financial industries need more regulations to prevent another meltdown like we just observed.  NO THEY DON'T!   It was regulations that got us in this mess.  Did you know that the Clinton administration mandated that Fannie Mae and Feddie Mac ensure 50% of loan approvals must come from lower income applicants.  The gov't tells banks how many minorities, how many poor, etc in the form of a percentage of its approvals.IS THIS CAPITALISM?   No!  The poor could not afford these $350k homes so loans were creative....interest only and stuff.  When home values go down...and they will as economies go up then down then up then down....look at histroy.  When home values go down, the poor owed more money than the house was worth.  Thanks Clinton.  I wont even mention NAFTA.(oops i just did)

We have a political spectrum, left of the spectrum means more regulations and more constraints to free enterprise and human rights. The right of the spectrum is less regulation and more human rights and freedoms.   It should be apparent where we should go.

Now they say the rich should pay more.   Do you know that they rich already pay more.  30% taxes of $100k a year is $30k in taxes.  30% of ZERO (poor people) is, well, ZERO--Hello, how much do poor people pay for defense, roads, fire, police, etc...??  NOTHING.

I say motivate people to go to school.  Motivate people to work.  Motivate people to make money and keep the economy going.  By taxing anything over a certain level, how does a gov't motivate the young people to go to college, to get a trade, to be happy with a profession?  Remember, the USSR broke up.  Is it time for the the not so United States of America to break up?

I am pro America, not pro Democrat, not pro Republican.  There are so many crooked politicians who are to the right in the political spectrum too.   There are many issues that are known as Republican that I cannot agree with like eliminating abortions, stopping stem cell research, etc...I am for pro abortion prior to a certain trimester, but more pro contraception.  I am pro stem cell as long as fetuses aren't made then used just for this...there are plenty stem cells to use after a baby is born or from the still born. Which I think is the same as a being an organ donor, which I am.  God gave us the ability to use science to better mankind, I say we take advantage of that.  Superman Reeves would still be living perhaps if W. was not the president.

Now, if we could figure out where Obama was born (another story) we should call it Leningrad.

if i can remember right he got there meals down to 32 cents by making them grow there food and i think pbj sandwiches. the channels are the gospel some other station and the station that tells you what on the other two stations. and Sgt you about hit the nail on the head with that speech

a couple things about that tho
1 it says the rich were losing money a couple years ago and now their in financial problems. kind of reminds me of the rock stars that blew all their money on drugs alcohol and women then once there carriers were over they have nothing. poor planing if you ask me
2 well kind of already said that in 1 poor financial planing, but i probably would of did the same thing lol
