im wanting to put draglites, or atleast maybe some look-a-likes? on my truck...but the way i understand it is they dont make them in the 5x5 bolt pattern.....is there any brand that looks pretty close that would fit 5x5? or what are my options/cost to be looking at to get them on my truck? thanks

Put a picture of the Draglites up.
-
they are the ones with the small little round holes close together...that all the prostreet guys use

well that kinda makes me look dumb...haha...i was told they didnt make those in 5x5...and my catalog didnt show them...never checked the website though...well thanks alot for the info!
what about the "Summit ALuminum Race wheels" the sport model..that is a look alike? anyone used those?
-
i found some made by jegs also...but it appears they dont have the 5x5 bolt pattern....:( whats the easiest way to change the bolt pattern on my truck?
-
Pacer makes the wheels.
got a quote a while back for 15x8 and 15x10 in a 5 on 5 pattern for $500 from a local tire shop.

I thought Pacer went out of business or something....or maybe they just discontinued a bunch of their wheels.

hi guys im new to the forum but i have been doing quite a bit of lookin up on these rims such as the draglites and prostars. what i have concluded so far is that it is actually cheaper to buy the summit or jegs brand, which ever you prefer. they dont have the 5x5 pattern but thats ok. i know jegs has the transdapt wheel adapters to convert your lug pattern from 5x5 to 5x 4 3/4. they are 1 1/4" wide but with 15x10 or 15 x 8 rims on back should look pretty good and still be inside the fender well. my plan was 15x10 on back and 15x6 up front. with 2 pair of adapters and 4 summit or jegs brand rims. you come out way cheaper than buying just 4 weld rims. and the summit and jegs brands are just as good. at least so they say. but they would not be in business if they weren't any good right....? and weld is not in business. well greg weld anyways... just my lil 2 cents guys. ;D

thanks for everyones input......lets hear your opinions on my newest idea.....in the summit mag....the US Wheel cheap steal truck wheels.....im thinking about series 97 chrome modular..15x7 or 8, with a 255/60/15 or something? for the front....and 15x10 with a 31 or 32 in the widest i can fit with leafs and be in the fender wells for back...whats your opinions on that? would that look "pro street" enough without spending the big bucks on the weld draglites???

I think those would look fine. Would you consider Basset(sp?) wheels? I think a lot of circle track guys use them and the wheels are super light(for steel wheels) and pretty cheap. I emailed them about making me a custom set of 15X6's and 15x12's and the price was gonna be very reasonable.

basset wheels huh...iv never heard of them...im open to suggestions though if they look good and are cheap..

This is Bassetts website for their DOT wheels: http://www.bassettwheel.com/dot.html
