Title: best fit long tube headers for 2wd 4spd blazer?
Post by: homerepairguy on August 22, 2009, 09:05:27 am
Hello all,
New to the board from the east coast...

Im getting ready to put long tubes on my 4spd 2wd Blazer,
and am wondering which ones actually clear the clutch linkage.

anybody have a solution?

shorties to me aren't much different than my 77 manifolds...

Help!
Thanks,
Homerepairguy :-\

Well duh, I think it's safe to assume it's a W-series 409. ::)

A possible solution to your clutch linkage problem would be to run zoomie headers through the hood.

There, I got it out of my system.  I can't offer any definite answers to your header question, but howdy and welcome aboard.

its an iron duke4 cylinder.
j/k
small block, although found a 454 today..... hmmmm.....

zoomies are a great idea, but was thinking more along the lines of marine headers, to get the exhaust over the roof.
(might not work though, wont clear the Chalet Camper assembly)

thanks for the welcome!

looking forward to alot of reading on here.
ColoradoK5 is a great site, but not so much for 2 wheel drive k5's!
