Title: Wiring a two wire Alternator
Post by: eramirez198121 on August 26, 2009, 09:26:43 pm
Hi guys hope all is well, I had a quick question. I have an 1974 Chevy truck that is what I call a frankenstin, see the previous owner probably did not know what they were doing and just but whatever he could to run the truck. I am now trying to restore the truck back to normal. The question I have is that well I am getting ready to drop the engine and I need to Hook up to alternator. The wire that were on there all old and fried, I wanna rewire it correct me if I am wrong but one wire goes to the Battery and the other does it go to the ignition? ???
