Hey all. I could be moving up north sometime soon, In Alabama not to much to contend with as far as snow and salty roads. I do not want my truck to rust up, will keeping it in a car garage all winter keep it from rusting. I also don’t want to spray all that goop on the under side of it as I am looking to have the frame power coated. ???

You need some sort of rust protection. Either undercoating or truck bedliner coating works the best.

I had though about the bed liner. But, I do not even know where i could be going yet. But it is either leave my truck in Alabama or take it and only drive in the summer months. Thanks for the info.

Yep, garage it in the winter, or undercoat it like was mentioned. The other option is drive it but keep up on maint. Wash often, touch-up paint when needed. I'd hate to see a southern truck exposed to these conditions. Up here they still use sand/salt mix, sand to take off the paint/undercoating and salt to do the damage.
