i was watching a horse show it was a rerun but it had Patric in it showing his humorous side and his love for horses. it was in the 90s maybe even 80s. seen a tabloid pic of him when i was checking out of wallmart a couple months back its hard to even think of him as that picture showed him i just keep thinking bout how he looked in all those movies and how my uncle never admitted to it but you can tell he was his role model, kept his hair the same got into martial arts lol

RIP!  I always liked him as an actor and Red Dawn had 73-87's in it!

LOL.  Red Dawn.  A small group of teenagers saving the US from a massive Russian invasion.  The premise of that movie still makes me laugh.  RIP Swayze.

I got the movie, no bad, but my favorite is Road House.  He played a good part in the North and South movie also...

Black Dog was good too, but I'm partial to trucker flicks.

What amazes me is he climbed to such heights professionally and yet always appeared grounded and unshakably devoted to his wife and family.  In an age where it is common for couples to just pack it in and go their separate ways, they stayed faithful to each other from the time they were teens, even through some trouble with alcohol.  I'm sure he had chicks falling all over him too - he was a good looking dude.

For me, he is a true measure of a man - not perfect, but accepts who he is and is grateful for all that he has and works hard to achieve his dreams.  RIP Patrick, you were one of the good ones.
