Title: Question - Swap 80 k-10 cab for 85 c-10 cab

I have an 80 k-10 with rotten floors, cab corners, and rockers. I can get a cab from an 85 c-10 from a buddy for a little bit of nothing. My question is and I think I am right in thinking the cabs are the same except maybe the tunnels. The later cab has the cowl grill on the cab and my 80 cab has the cowl built into the hood. Can I do a fairly painless swap or is there something Im missing. I dont mind cutting and swapping a tunnel when the new cab has perfect rockers and floors, which is amazing.

Dont forget to swap out or unless it doesnt matter the corners where the hood hinge sits.81-87 has them pockets 73-80 didnt...  Hope this helps out some..

I did notice some posts about the hinge pockets. Thanks for the heads up. I guess I really need to look at the differences in them. I cant really picture the issue in my head at the moment.
