Title: another flip kit question..
Post by: shieldscustoms on September 22, 2009, 08:46:43 pm
i have been doing some reading for a while and still not found what i need to know....where should i buy a flip kit from/what brand....i have heard some say it wont mess up the pinion angle that bad, and others say it will....i was told some kits have that factored into the kit...if so which ones is that? i want go go as cheap as i can, but id rather buy one that has a pinion angle correction built into it if thats possible...i dont really care about a c-notch...since i have heard you guys are gettin by without.
i have searched online and looked in  ....so far all i can find is a bunch of "cheap looking" high priced kits that say nothing about correcting pinion angle...

im finally gettin a motor together for my project so its time i get the tires/wheels and susp stuff figured out and ordered so i can get it on the road soon! any help will be greatly appreciated! thanks. matt

We sell McGaughys kits and I can get Belltech, but any well known brand will work.
If you have a long bed, count on shimming it.  No kit has this built in.
Typically short beds don't require shims.

alrighty...ya mines a swb so i guess i have nothing to worry about....the reason my rearend is shot is cause of the homemade flip kit....for some reason my computer wont load up the online catalog to check what you have...im assuming you probably offer the best deal compared to jegs or summit or anything though right? id rather spend my money here than those places if its as good as or cheaper...thanks again for the help..

Go with capt.....you can't go wrong. Prolly the best customer service you will get anywhere, and if something is wrong with the kit, you won't wait weeks to get it corrected, or get the runaround.

The lowering kits are listed right now, but if you let me know what you want in an email I will get you a price.
I try to be as competitive as I can though.  There will be bigger companies that will be cheaper than I am on lowering kits, I can assure you.

I have used them, they are fine.  Any of the well known name brands are good.
