Title: Brake/Tail lamps stop working with head lamps on. More issues related..
Post by: notched on October 06, 2009, 08:43:58 pm
Ok, the brake lamps and turn signals work fine. But when I turn the head lights on, they stop working. I noticed the parking/side marker lamps dont work and the high beam bulbs are lit very dimly even though the high beams arent on. The right turn signal indicator is lit even though the turn signals arent on.
I bought this truck off a neighbor who severely neglected it. I would like to make it into a good daily driver.

All what you describe is "usually" due to bad grounds.  BTW welcome to the site...

Ditto, I would check for a bad ground.
