Holy crap :o How the heck do you remove the front fender emblems on a 79 K10? The engineer that came up with this idea must have been some kind of contortionist. Any suggestions?

Try to remove the body bolts and pull the fender towards you. That may give you enough room to remove it.If not, your stuck removing the whole thing.I recommend using barrel nuts when installing the emblems. That way you just push the emblems into place instead of using nuts.Good luck.

I believe they're just pressed on. Use a putty knife and wiggle it under one side and pry just a little. Move it to the other side and do the same. Once it seperates from the fender you'll be able to see where the studs are and put the putty knife or pry bar next to it. Pry a little at each stud to be careful not to break the studs.

Mine were held on with a "speed" nut on the studs. The only way to remove mine was to pull the fender. They looked similar to thesehttp://www.thefastenerwarehouse.com/catalog/item/568857/216341.htm (http://www.thefastenerwarehouse.com/catalog/item/568857/216341.htm)

They are bolted on. You have to remove them from the inside.

Sorry bout that. I guess the older ones were bolted.

You will have these or speed nuts
