Title: Door Adjustments
Post by: psmsmallengines on July 22, 2002, 01:57:00 am
Just put new door seals on my 74 1/2 Ton GMC. Now the doors have to be shut very hard in order to shut. I did tighten bolts on drivers door, that is actually the door that is the worse out of the two. Anyone have any hints how to make door shut easier?. Thanks!

If your body lines are good and the hinge pins are good, adjust the striker bolt to compensate. It is a torx T55 I believe.
