What is the difference in the 73-81 foam bench seat cushions and the 82-87 cushions?
Can you use 82-87 upholstery over 73-81 foam?
I see Classic sells both types. I own trucks from both year ranges and can't see much of any difference, other than 82-87 might be slightly more square in front.

The contour of the seat where it sits between the seatbelts is wider on the older models but the main difference is how the seat belts go either through the seat bottom or between the seat cushions.

We sell the EXACT same kits they do, cheaper. From us the bench seat sets are $179.95 for the vinyl/velour and $164.95 for the all vinyl (not including shipping)
73-81 seats are straight across the lower cushion. The foam are seperate pieces from the frame and they have no pass-thru for the floor belts.
82-87 bench seats have a pinch at the rear of the seat where it curve in. Only the bottom foam is not attached to the frame, the upper portion is non replaceable as it is molded into the rear frame.
