Title: Windshield washer stays on??????

I am a new owner of a 1981 C2500 with M code 350 and none of the fancy stuff. It is my $700 pickup that coincidentally was owned by my shop teacher in high school. He ordered it the way he wanted it. The one issue that I am working with now is the washer fluid that does not stop. Anytime the wipers are on the fluid is flowing. What can this be??? Thanks

Is the washer motor in the tank or in the motor?

Sorry, it is in the motor on the firewall.

It's usually the motor assembly at fault.
