Title: slow window

My passenger side window is slow but if i unplug driver side switch the passenger side moves fast.Any ideas.

Resistance.... Do you know how to do a voltage drop test?

I found out th it has to do with the ground wire in the harness.If i unplug the ground the pass side work fast and the driver side works slow and vise-versa with the ground pluged in. Any ideas.

Like I said, resistance... You can do a voltage drop test accross the ground side of the circuit from the switch but first check the jumper harness between the door jam in the boot for cracks in the insulation and high resistance. If you find that to be the problem just run a new wire.

I still can't figure it out.I have a wiring harness from a 85 and window motors 79 could that be the problem.

I went from manual to power.The problem is that if I hook up both window switches the windows are slow but if I hook up just one switch,driver or passenger the windows are fast.
